Sid Meir's Civilization

Ah, a classic.

I got into it by playing the MS-DOS version! it had so many bugs (some of which could be taken advantage of to win Wink), but it was fun and addictive and actually very educational about history. From there i played the second one which was alright, much the same, just with good graphics and more options. i own Civilization 3, which kept me amused for many a day. I've seen 4 but haven't played or bought it yet.

So i guess i owe Sid Meir for keeping me entertained for so long!

What's everyone strategies for these games? In the third one, i like to be very cultured, making nearby cities ditch their civilization for my one, then when i'm powerful enough wage war against them. usually i try to stay peaceful though.
Hell Scyth

I tend to become allied with all others, then remove the stronger teams peice by peice........ Hey, when you control the United Nations, THEY work for YOU!!!

Though my version of Civiliasation (can't rememebr if you said it was a rip off, Rokeman) is pretty different, but i'm pretty sure Sid Meirs created it, Rokeman. I'm tellin' ya, it's there somewhere! And if it isn't, then maybe it was one of those demo spin-off trials that was released. i did get it free after all on a Shareware (or whatever it was) disk. lol
Rokeman
