Dawn of War: SoulstormThis games actually been out for a few months now, but if you havn't heard of it, or have no knowledge of the DoW series, here's a quick recap!!!
Dawn of War is a popular RTS based in the Warhammer 40,000 series. It follows a endless war on a galactic scale between powerful Space Marine armies, vast alien armada's, and even poweful cryptic beings.
Spanning over many worlds for each series, the RTS allows players to take charge in different playing styles due to each unique races abilities and units. The Tau, for example, rely on stealth and to win while the Imperial Guard go for strength in numbers and powerful fire-power to win.
If you've got "Dark Crusade", the previous game before Soulstorm, them there are seven races as follows...
Space Marines: Powerful, and basic. The might of the human empire.
Imperial Guard: Also humans, but in some dislikes with the Space Marines. They aren't necessarily allies.
Chaos Marines: The fallen brethren of the Space Marines. They bring their might from "The Warp" and daemons wielding powerful Eldrich magics.
Tau: Weak in respect, but fast, and excellent marksmen. They also have great fire-power.
Eldar: An ancient and powerful race that wields powerful Eldrich magic's. They rely on stealth and decpetion to win their battles.
Necron: An ancient race banished and destroyed by the Eldar, but in Dark Crusade they rise up once more (thanks to an idiot mining group) and once more try to take the world of Kronus (where they were buried) and wreak intergalactic domination! They also use Eldirch magic's and powerful weapons. Their armada is also like Terminators, that is they can resurrect again on the battlefiled ocne fallen! Not sure if they're availiable in Soulstorm.
Orks: Primitave, yet powerful. They can take a very good beating in battle and have plenty of guns! They're also great in close combat.
And the new army to come to the series in Soulstorm!
The Dark Eldar. I havn't played Soulstorm so I can't explain who they truly are, but what I do know is that they are the "evil", if you think that;s an accurate description, in comparance to the normal Eldar you'd be familiar with. Soulstorm will see much conflict between the Eldar and their Dark relations giving a nice in depth background into Eldar history, just as seen in the first DoW with the Space Marines and their heritcal brothers n blood.

I'd be happy to write reveiw, but I can only do so for a game I've actualy played. Or at least, a demon for the game. I havn't got either.

True, but it wouldn't be for this game.
Technically, what I've done for this topic is based on my research right from DoW's creators site... whos brand suddenly escapes me. :p
I will however, construct reviews for other games I get research on... Gears of War 2 is comming out not long from now... I may just make one up, just for you RJ 'ol pal.

UPDATE!!!!I caught a glimps and read through the box. There's something i missed that I never saw on the THQ website!!!
Turns out that there's (here me here and rejoice) ANOTHER race in Soulstorm!!!!! This one is the counter[art version for the Space Marines. If i recall right, they were called "The Sisters" or something like that. They're the female, militant-version of the Space marines!!! So that brings Soulstorms grand total of unit suprmacy to a awesome 9!!!!!!!!!! (so long as there's still Necrons, otherwise there'll be only 8 in total)
