(note, the following is also available for PC)

I figured since I played a demo recently, and there's not much in the way for game reviews, I should outline this game from what I did have the chance to see. (note, my response is fairly limited as I really dind't have much time to observe the games capabilities)

For one, this game is based in the Quake series, but rather than being on Stroggos (the Strogg's homeowolrd for those who don't know) it's based upon Earth in the cruital moment when the Strogg invasion commenced. Nromally you'd play as a marine fighting through to destroy the Strogg and put an end to war, but in this case yoiu can play on either side and fight to take back or take Earth.

The game is much like the ever popular Unreal Tournament with fast moving, fast paced action with somee pretty hardcore headlong fights. Even the multiplayer section (which I think may been online to have more than 1 player, but you can play battles idependently this way too) involves you having to complete certain objecttives, hanressing the different class of troops you have to acomplish them. This is why i thought of a Unreal Tournament crossed with a Battlefiled as you (human only) paradrop yourself into the battlefield as your chosen class (Soldier, Engineer, Medic, Specilalist and think a Recon) and start to decimate the enemy! I was't able tp play as the Strogg but I assume they may teleport into the field rather than drop.

The single player allows for the same type of conflict within the multiplayer mode, but with a story line tied in for you to fight onward in an attempt to destroy the Strogg invasion from Earth as best you can. Though there's nothing wrong with doing it the other way and taking Earth for harvest, as is the Stroggs method of putting forth their "anti-humanitarian" mission.

As a Quake fan since the first, I recommend anyone who likes a strategic fast paced FPS to give this one a shot! You'll never really know how good it is until you try.
